Billy Strings collaborated with Béla on the My Bluegrass Heart album. Even though he didn't officially tour with the MBH group, he did show up for a couple of high-profile shows in early 2022 at the Ryman and Carnegie Hall.
Strings has also opened up for the Flecktones on occasion and Béla has had a few guest spots with Strings and his Band. The two even did a one-off duo show at the 2019 Americanafest.
