Victor Wooten: Vic just finished a clinic at Fort Lewis College in Colorado (2/7) He also just finished Bass@TheBeach, presented by the Bass Extremes this past weekend (February 14-18) at the Ocean Dunes Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina But now for some information you can actually USE . . . just not until May: It seems the Victor Wooten Band will tour the west coast, again. Dates are slowly showing up: 5/2/07 - McDonald Theater, Eugene, OR 5/5/07 - El Rey, Los Angeles, CA Mike Stern, Dennis Chambers, & Victor Wooten: May 15, 16, and 17 - Blues Alley, Jazz Supper Club, Washington D.C. And it looks like the Victor Wooten Band will be doing a full fledged European Tour in October: Click here for a small amount of info. Finally, it looks like Vic will be showing up on Chick Corea's next DVD release. He spent some time doing gigs with Chick's Elektric Band last fall and it looks like it will make it to DVD in late 2007. Keep your eye out for this as it features a great list of talent including not only Chick & Vic, but David Weckl, Eric Marienthal, and Frank Gambale.
