Summer Tour Shaping Up

As if they Flecktones hadn't toured in enough places this year (Europe, South America, Australia, Mexico...), they just extended their 2007 US/Canadian tour. The tour starts in late May, with a small break in June (for the Bela/Chick tour). Then they pick back up at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and tour straight through October! If you were getting disappointed about not seeing the Flecktones this year, think again, because they have you covered. Tour dates listed below, Alaska and all!

But some things about these dates don't make sense, are there more dates coming? I guess it's possible. Why is there one lonely random show in California, this seems odd. I would imagine they will tour for a few more days in October and hit up a few more places on the west coast. Where is the love for the PA/VA area? This area ususally gets 3 or 4 shows a year and this year they have not a single one. I'm thinking with the break from 9/22-9/27, or even the break in early October, we'll see some PA/VA dates pop up. Also the rumors are still around that the Flecktones will make their first appearance at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. This takes place on 9/14-9/16 . . . which is conveniently wide open on this schedule. Could we see the Flecktones at ACL and will there be a southern US (TX) tour around this time as well? My guess is there are still several dates that have not been anounced, but we shall see.
